2. DO NOT run the game with "FordORR.exe" or it will be in German !! Instead Follow step 3 first)       
3. Config FIRST with "PCConfig\_config.bat" or "PCConfig\SysConfig.exe", then play with SysConfig.exe ! You can choose your language in this config tool.

Unlike other flight sims, IL-2 Sturmovik models forests and buildings with incredible detail. Flying at 30m and 500 Km/h over a tree-covered hill couldn't be more realistic.
